Night had long settled it's thick coat upon the world, and although many would have been blinded by the wonderful darkness, the girl reveled in it- she thrived.
More specifically due to the fact that the large leopard beside her served as her wondrous yellow eyes. And indeed, her emerald irises were useless to the world around her, though her ears picked up the creaking of wood against the subtle waves, the quiet scuttling paws of mis-placed rodents, searching for the same things that the girl was looking for- leftovers of the valiant sailor's lunches.
As a matter of fact, many of them left their metal boxes out for the girl, and had no problem with allowing the female to share in their left over crumbs. Which for her was great- she received delicious pizza crusts, sand which crusts, and if the men were REALLY generous, they would be so kind as to leave her an unopened package of moon-pies for her Thor- who generally stuck to the random mice wandering around the lonely deck.
"What do you think of this?" she asked the large cat, who was moving his wings rather uneasily. "Thor?"
He turned his head, and sucked in a rat's tail- he knew how that disgusted the girl.
"Sorry."
"No... Just... What do you think of moon-pies?" she asked, tossing him one, which he happily caught in his powerful jaws, before he rubbed up against the girl's stomach. (His head gently brushed against her brests when he stood.)
"Mm. Tasty. Take 'em for later, I suppose." He yawned, revealing his blood-stained fangs, causing the girl to cringe. "Mm.. Sorry." he mumbled, sitting and leaning back to preen the membranes of his wings.
"Eh... We should go before we get caught." she said smiling at him, her hands moving carefully to tie on her black cloak better around her elegant neck.
"Sounds good, Malissa."

Watching the girl Abel smirked, his white hair blowing around his forehead as he grinned. War sat beside him, her small pink tongue lapping at her breast fur before she yawned and looked back up. "Seems we found another member huh girl?" Abel asked his creature in a soft voice, smiling as she looked back up at her master and sneezed. Abel usually never watched someone from afar, but he felt he had to take in the whole girl before he moved in. "Hay!" he called before walking over, having jumped over the rail and landing on the deck. "It's Malissa right?" he asked with a grin, bright blue eyes locking onto her form before he started for her. Tight black pants fit his legs as his white tank top stretched over his chest, the cold night air not bothering him one bit.
War followed closely, her foxy tail flicking back and forth as she followed her master. "It seems your having a nice...Midnight snack..." Abel chuckled as War sniffed the ground, licking her lips before stretching her wings out and yawning.

"Thor-"
"I heard." he hissed, spreading his massive wings between the girl and the others, his teeth clenched in an angry fury. "What do you want with her?" he questioned, though, a gentle hand pulled lightly on the membranes.
"Calm yourself. He's friend." she said, flicking him on the nose, and slamming the box shut. "Don't say it like that, either. It makes me feel like a fat-ass." she told him, throwing the box in his general direction. "I lost my appetite as it is- this one just had about five rats." she said, smirking, before she glanced down at Thor, who nodded, and they turned and just seemed to walk off the dock into the darkness.
Though it was an ingenious escape tactic that few knew about- and though they failed to realize it at the time, the quarter moon was beggining to peek out from behind a cloud, and the slighest of silver linings materialized against the two moving shapes- the cat on the left, girl on the right.

Chuckling Abel ran a hand through his hair before following after them, stepping beside the girl with a slight smile "You know it's rube to walk off when someone is trying to talk to you...Don't you know it hurts my feelings.." Abel smiled a bit, watching as War walked up beside Thor and sniffed his legs. Growling softly the Firefox then moved underneath the Leobat's belly, letting her feathers tickle his underbelly as they walked. Snorting War soon jumped away, not wanting to end up like the rats. Walking beside Abel he laughed at his master and said with a shrug "Well it seems your not that busy tonight...Care for a drink at the local bar?" he smiled a bit as he touched her hair and flipped it.
"Come on it will be fun...My treat..." Abel gave her a wide grin and a wink before continuing to follow beside her.

Her glare pushed against his eyes after she had re-materialize, honestly looking as though she was contemplating the offer- though her hand had risen to pull her hair back in the proper place.
"I would, but my boyfriend would be angry with me." she told him, watching Thor for a moment, who was resisiting the urge to slice his teeth through the fire-fox's throat, as hungry as he was.
He was being a good little kitty tonight...
"We don't talk to strangers." Thor hissed, pulling the girl forward with a stretched wing, seperating the pair, glaring at Abel from behind. "Besides. She's underage."

Shrugging Abel laughed as he stood, watching the two walk off "Well then I guess I shouldn't talk to you anymore...I wouldn't want your "Boyfriend" to get in my face now..." he rolled his eyes and licked his lips, watching the girl walk off "Fine...Have it your way little mis priss..." Abel looked down at War who snorted slightly, licks of fire catching her coat before she shook herself. "Well what now girl?" Abel said as he knelt down and rubbed the top of the firefoxes head. Chuckling softly Abel moved off down the port, letting War go after a couple rats as he walked on "So boring..." he mumbled, hands behind his head as he walked down another part of the deck.

With an ear-peircingly loud scream, the girl flew back behind the male, and louder than the waves, she gripped him from behind. "Save me..." she whimpered, her emerald eyes locking with those of the deer that charged ahead, and from out of nowhere, a set of raised claws slashed the face of the encroaching stag.
It let out a sort of grunt, ignoring the pain, stabing out at the leobat, and when a horn caught within the wing membrane, tearing a thick hole through it, the girl fell on the floor screaming and writhing in pain.
Meanwhile, dearest Thor had ripped himself backwards out of reach of the stag, and had managed to shove it away.
"She's here somewhere still." he hissed, wings folding uncomfortably to his sides. "We need to leave. Now."

Frowning Abel quickly caught Malissa and glanced over at the monsters. Growling he pointed and sent War toward the stag, watching as the fire fox shot off a large blast of fire. "What the heck did you do?" he asked as he dropped over a railing, placing the girl down on the ground before snorting "What want to have some fun??" he rolled his eyes and turned to watch War continuing to attack the stag, hissing and blasting the monsters with blast of fire.

Malissa shook her head, shivering within the male's arms. "Oh dear god... Just run!" she commanded, taking his hand roughly between her fingers, and calling over her shoulder for Thor to leave it and just go.
After a moment, however, the Stag managed to kick away the fox, and with a snort, had turned to trot back to it's master.
Walking not five minutes later, the girl began to speak, about what she had done to make the other female so pissed off- she betrayed the New Truth to the New Lin- but... Her excuse? The Lin paid her MUCH more.
She could feed herself that night.
